Maria Vakola (PhD) is an organisational psychologist and she is currently working as a Professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. Maria has also worked as a lecturer and visiting staff in a number of Universities across Europe. Maria has published in academic journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Communications of the ACM, Journal of Applied Behavioural Sciences etc and presents her work in academic conferences. She has published three books and the latest one titled "Organizational Psychology and Behaviour" Rossili Publications. She teaches human resources management, organisational behaviour and change management in an undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level and she has received awards for teaching excellence. Maria has delivered many executive courses for companies and her most recent co-operations include companies such as Groupama Insurance, Intracom, AB Vassilopoulos, Vodafone, OSE, Apivita, Dodoni etc. Maria has received an award for innovation in human resources management from the Hellenic Management Association for the non-profit initiative called job-pairs.gr.
